A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Our free cancer Comfort Box has been thoughtfully created with patients, bringing together a selection of practical and comforting items to support you through your experience with cancer. Each box is a reminder that you are cared for, supported and part of a community that is here for you.
What’s included
Digital In-Ear Thermometer - Accurate temperature monitoring is essential during your treatment. Our digital infra-red thermometer ensures precise readings and features a memory function to track changes, aiding in your care and well-being.
Blanket - A blanket designed to provide comfort, a sense of security and of course warmth, which is crucial for patients with weakened immune systems.
Travel Mug - Stay fuelled throughout your cancer journey with this spill-proof and easy-to-clean travel mug. It's designed to keep your preferred beverages piping hot or refreshingly cool, ensuring you stay hydrated and energised.
Cosy Scarf - Keep warm and cosy with a scarf.
"Stories of Cancer and Hope"Cancer Card editionby Kevin Donaghy - A collection of honest stories from people directly affected by cancer. These stories are uplifting and inspirational because of the many silver linings and glimmers of hope they offer, in the words of people who know what it's like to live with the uncertainty of cancer.
Notebook and Pen - Keep track of your thoughts, appointments, and experiences in one place. This simple pad and pen set helps you capture important moments, ensuring nothing significant is missed.
A Cancer Card - With love from the Cancer Card team, this card contains a QR code to access our online support directory. Explore the range of services available, including support for finances, counselling, transport, complementary therapies, and free gifts and experiences.

Live in one of our grant funded areas (please contact us at comfortbox@cancercard.org.uk to find out if you are in a funded area)
Have a cancer diagnosis
There is the option to purchase the box as a gift which helps fund this initiative.
