Raising the profile of cancer and support services is an important part of our work. As part of the World Cancer Day we spent time this week talking and engaging with people who can make connections to the cancer community.

We were part of Barclays bank Glasgow's awareness raising on Wednesday 4th February. Stalls and information were available from a range of cancer charities for the thousands of employees based on the Glasgow campus. The event featured MacMillan, Maggies, the Beatson Cancer Charity, Rainbow Valley, Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland, Cahonas Scotland and Prostate Cancer UK. Just some of the charities offering support to the thousands of families impacted each year by a cancer diagnosis and all featured on Cancer Card's online support directory.

On Thursday Myles Briggs, MSP, kindly sponsored a photo shoot at Holyrood. We were fortunate to be joined by MSPs from across the parties showing their support for World Cancer Day and the work of Cancer Card.
