Guest speakers confirmed for Lanarkshire event

With our next Health and Well-being event fast approaching, we are delighted to announce that we will be joined by various guest speakers who will be sharing helpful information and services for attendees.

Taking place on Thursday 25th at 1pm at Kirkshaws Neighbourhood Centre in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, attendees will have the opportunity to pop in and connect with charities, services and each other, engage in the talks and demonstrations to support their overall well-being.

The following talks and demonstrations have been confirmed:

North Lanarkshire Council

Melanie Menzies from North Lanarkshire Council’s Active & Creative Communities team will deliver a short talk and lead an optional physical activity session for those who wish to participate.

Beatson Cancer Charity

Supporting people affected by cancer across Glasgow and the West of Scotland, Beatson Cancer Charity will be delivering a short presentation of the wellbeing services, specialist support that they provide.

Aderans Trend Co

Specialising in providing people with a range of wigs to suit their needs, Aderans Trend Co will be in attendance offering wig demonstrations to those who would like support with wig fitting and wearing.

Your Perfect Fit

Your Perfect Fit is a specialist bra and prosthesis service. Business owner, Lynn will be there to talk about the service she offers to cancer patients.

In addition to this, the following charities and services will be in attendance to offer their services to people affected by cancer.
